Hours to go

The sellers agent spoke with my agent and wanted him to let us know that the reason we haven't heard from them yet is because the sellers were out of town but they will be back this evening and then the offer will be presented. My agent said the sellers agent sounded very motivated and not at all like our offer was anything but good! Oh I hope this one is it! I spent the day visiting various tile, flooring and home stores...I know, I know, bad girl! BUT, it was better than sitting at home and obsessing.. I found a fabulous travertine that I am in love with. I impressed myself by asking them if that was their "best" price and after one phone call he gave me a quote of more than 50% off the sale price. I don't know what made me ask, it honestly never occurred to me before to haggle at a retail store *grin* So I got a written estimate that is good for a week(I would just buy it now and store it in a garage somewhere(hint hint) ofcourse only if we actually GET the house, you know minor detail). I still want to find a good source for cork and go check it out. I also played with the idea of doing hardwood again...but I think I'm ready for a change we've had hardwood for years now and I love the look of the stone floors so much. I took a few pictures of the backyard...here's one, and the other. I hope I'm not jinxing myself. I know I should just be patient. Its just that honestly I cant think of one other single house in the MLS last time I checked that I would even want to walk through. This has to be the one!
