Well
yah, and it is...mostly. We actually made an appointment to go see it on Friday. Shana ran into one of her friends from
High school, he happens to be a
realtor..SO he made us an appointment to see it. I spoke with the listing agent and it needs quite a bit of work(electrical and
plumbing, new windows and floors need to be refinished) So we will bring a home inspector and contractor with us so we can submit the bids with the offer. Did I say offer?
Of course it would be a contingency offer and we
haven't even decided yet if we are seriously considering it.
Then there is this other house that we found. Its 7 minutes away from
Shana's work. Big house(6+4) lots of property--zoned for horses, and goats and chickens (swoon, what I
wouldn't give for fresh goats milk and eggs for the kids) So we also have an appointment to see this house Friday.
If anything its a nice distraction from the obvious. I spoke with A's worker. There will be no transition. Once the paper work arrives on his desk he is to place the baby. Its up to me to waive the 7day notice or not and its also my choice to drive him 7hrs north to do the placement or have a transporter do it. So now
I'm just waiting for "that" call.
Getting back to my distraction:
property:
(notice the POOL?)
The living room:

It would be so nice to have to drive a Mountain Pass
every time we want to go somewhere.
It would be nice to have Shana at home those extra two hours per day(her commute)
It would be nice to not live up a scary Mountain Pass that my best friend wont drive on any regular basis, maybe Id actually get to have HER over more!

It's beautiful, Renee. I'd miss you though. Not that I make it over there a lot right now anyway, lol. I want chickens and goats!! lol
OMG it's beautiful, Renee!
Oh-my-goodness, can I come visit? Pretty please? That place looks awesome. Please make sure you bring your digital camera with you so we can see more of your dream house!
oh my... I'm drooling...
Wow, that house looks great. I wish there were places like that in our neighborhood. But I goats aren't really likely in The Big City. Though we have friends who just bought a farm and already have chickens and the goats are on order for the spring. And they're about 30 minutes away from us. So I guess we have the best of both world.
Though I really want all those bedrooms!!! and the pool!
But I guess I'm glad I don't have that square footage to keep clean. ;)
It's so sucky for A that he won't have a transition. Maybe you can drive him up and stay in a hotel nearby so you can see him again the next day?
