A camping we will go....
Yes that's right we are going camping....ALL of us. We bought a cute lil' pop-up camper at the start of summer, but this will be our first trip out. We are leaving early tomorrow afternoon and will be home Monday afternoon.
Thanks to some wonderful gifts suggestions and encouragement from a friend(and then another friend) our lives have turned around completely. Marissa is doing fantastic and dare I say it...Ive only been changing her sheets once per week. And that's not because Ive found better diapers(though Ive done that too thanks to a great cloth diaper service) but because Marissa is truly doing that fantastic! I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. Couldn't be more thrilled! I was approved for 10hours of respite per week with a home health agency. I'm mostly looking forward to it. We had a serious scare over the weekend with her and its making me EXTREMELY nervous about letting her out of my sight. But I'm not required to leave or anything, I can just do that gradually and we'll see how it goes. Tomorrow morning I enroll Olivia in kindergarten and check on the status of the districts school selection for Emily and Marissa(both will be in special ed--not integrated programs) Mackenzie is feeling very left out with all this school talk. Poor baby stuck at home with mean mommy all day..boo hoo. Seriously what am I? Well maybe she will be excited when she also has Kailen here with her during the day--not that he does much yet...besides eat and fart and poop and cry and grow more rolls on his rolls everyday(fat boy is already about 12pounds--go mommy milk woot!) But Macks does love her some Kailen, oh yes she does! Ok and I kinda love him too...not that any of you needed any more reminding. I think its pretty obvious he is rocking all of our worlds right now. Well anyway I'm rambling. So much to do before we leave tomorrow. I got the camper mostly loaded and the new bedding on the beds. I went shopping this afternoon and bought way more than we needed...sure was fun though! I bought one of those screened in room ez-up thingies for Marissa. She can have shade...be bug free and hopefully safely contained and entertained(got her some fun new goodies to play with. Of course the other girls can come and go(they never stray far from her) I'm bringing our bounce house so she can play in that too. OK I'm really rambling now. g'nite!

WTG on the cd's and repsite, it's awesome to hear that Marissa is doing so well! :) Have fun camping!
I am SO glad the fog lifted for you - you needed to see the light, it's the light that we remember when it's dark and the memories get us through the darkness until we find the light again. (errrr something like that...lol) It's too late and I am rambling. Have a wonderful trip! It was SO nice to check and find a new post, I missed you!
Love

Good to see you back. Have a great time camping.
So glad to hear about the cloth dipes and the camping trip, plus the respite and school plans. How did camping go? I hope you all had a fun adventure. Please be honest about how it went and what you wished you had brought, cuz we are also buying a pop-up and wondering what all we will need (to camp right across the street in Cherry Creek State Park, LMAO!!).
Summer smiles for miles and miles...
