Five

My baby girl is five years old. This birthday is hitting me hard. I don't understand how its possible that she is five, but she is. Wow. Since she could talk she has been asking for straight hair. I told her when she was two that on her 5th birthday I would make her a hair appointment and she would get "straight hair". She never forgot, and as she told the hair stylist shes been "praying for straight hair every day" and as the nice woman told her "today is the day baby girl" Only I could insist on waking up early to take her myself for the sake of the pictures and then LEAVE MY CAMERA AT HOME! Go figure. I did get a few on my phone and the quality isn't great but its better than nothing. Olivia is at least 1 if not 2heads taller now and Shana is asking when we can take her down a few notches and wash away the straight attitude(lol). I'm glad I decided to wait, she really was ready...it took hours. No chemicals, just a flat iron. I think this is something I will consider keeping up though with summer coming I think we will wait until fall to get it done again(only lasts as long as you keep your hair dry) So anyway here are the photos...I will be posting slide shows of the girls party and of them getting their ears pierced(they both have handled it very well and again I think they were just the right age) More later (:

She looks like a doll! What a cutie! What do you mean it only lasts as long as you keep your hair dry??? What happens when you wash it? Sorry, dumb question.
