LOL Renee. Laughing is better, no little ones to ask what is wrong :)My living room looks like that numerous times a day. Every hour on the hour they pick up (sometimes sooner!) and it helps curb the mess.
Someday, I'm going to take a picture of our family room at its worst. Today we finally finished cleaning what we started to clean up yesterday- including taking down the Christmas tree- that was long dead, dr,y and crumbly. Oi.

Ohhhh how I feel for you. Yes laughing is the best course but sometimes you just want to pull your hair out. LOL
Thank you for reminding me that our house isn't the only one that ends up like this.
Fortunately it often looks worse than it is. But dang, just as quickly as it returns to order it can also return to destruction zone.
