TWO 5month old's a 13month old and two 3yr olds?

Nah! Tuesday I was in DCS to supervise a visit with A and biomom. I was told about a 5month old baby boy who needed just the right home. Today his worker called(again, just to make sure before turning it over to central placement). They dont just want him in any fosterhome, they think RU is unlikely and know I would be the perfect match for him. The area supervisor suggested they call me. The fact that I have two under two isnt an issue since "A has a relative who should be approved soon" Baby bait and switch? God I hope not. I had to say no, as hard as it is to say no. 4 kids ages 3 and under is plenty, not to mention Im not ready to believe yet that A IS leaving...his worker gave me the impression that I shouldnt worry yet--ofcourse it was also brought to my attention by another CPS worker that A's current worker doesnt know his case very well yet(he is his newest worker) AND that this relative is a PRIDE mom who is currently WAITING to adopt and thats how she found out about A(another relative told her) SO its time I face it, my baby boy will leave. But it doesnt change my mind about adding another baby boy(who is the same age) to my home. For now A is here and Im not about to replace him before he is gone, not to mention that I know my limit. Even if I DONT like to admit I have limits, I do have them. I know what I can handle. Oh its so hard not to call the worker back and take him!

Oh, that's a toughie. I think you have more willpower than me... scratch that, I couldn't handle as many kids as you already do, let alone add another one into the list.

Good luck. I'm sorry about A, and I'm here if you need to talk about it.
