Today Olivia (along side Maggie) started her very first dance class! This class is a combination tap/ballet! As expected Maggie went right in and Olivia clung to me for dear life begging me not to make her go, LOL! Maggie stayed in for the first half of the class and then began inching her way to the door. As for Olivia I'm hoping for 45seconds in the room (parents aren't allowed in during class but can watch through a double mirror) next class. I know its going to take some time getting Olivia transitioned into the class(she's only 2.5 we DO have time) I would like to continue taking her each week and letting her get comfortable with the place/teacher/routine and I feel confident she will be ready to join the class in her own time. The teacher was AMAZING and Olivia opened up to her right away! It was awesome to see and even Raechelle was commenting on how shocked she was at how well Olivia took to her. They will have their first recital this December(Im not holding my breath on Olivia actually participating in this recital but I think the preparation will be a good experience in itself)

The ballet bun
