ugh!

Marissa's liver enzymes went up so today we went in for an ultra sound. They were checking for stones and found some in her kidneys. I don't know what that means, yet. Her apt is Wednesday.

I finally decided to get a full time nurse. I haven't been given a start date yet but she will be working 40hours per week, 8hours per day. 6am-2pm.

Tomorrow Rae goes back to work part time and my gaggle of kids will now include 7 children under age 7. woot! I'm really looking forward to the extra motivation. One of the moms at Olivia's school asked her if I was her daycare, it made me laugh because even though she's only ever seen "my" children she still thought I was a daycare. I guess that's what happens when your children span 3 ethnicity's and are all pretty close in age, or is it just the 12passenger white van that made her suspicious?

This weekend we will attend the annual "Family" weekend in Palm Springs. I'm trying to get excited about it. Should we expect to see you there this year Ivy? Alicia, I know your family just grew by 3 today! Congrats! I'm assuming you'll be busy getting everyone settled in and wont be there...or will you???

I just finished a great book, Escape. I cant wait for the new books Rae promised me. Books are balm to my soul.

I'm excited the holiday season is almost here! Wednesday my fall decor will go out. I bought a bunch of Halloween decoration I will put out about a week before. Then, after the big day(party at my house, rum jello shots, common Amber you know you want some) I will remove the Halloween decor and put the fall decor back out and add thanksgiving themed stuff. The day after thanksgiving out goes Christmas! This year I am going to have TWO trees! I am so excited. Ive decided I want to cut down my own tree's this year(for the scrap book page of course) Then I'm going to set one up in the family room with all the usual decorations and then a second tree in my formal living room with all homemade ornaments(made by yours truly). Well I haven't exactly made them yet, I'm gonna start that soon and continue until Christmas. Who's game for crafting? Jessica, I heard you were quite crafty. Join me and teach me how to make wreaths for my door and above my mantel and make a few ornaments for your tree...what do you think??

I adore homemade ornaments, so I see that as a more then fair trade off.
Have fun this weekend!
