more cuteness

isn't he delicious? These are all camera phone pictures. I wish I would have uploaded actual pictures when I had Rae's camera...but I was in too much of a hurry to get back to the hospital to do it. Rae is busy being a new nursing mom to a very demanding little prince so I can't even harass her to do it *wink* Things around our house are going well. We have settled in nicely and I do totally love the house. The girls are getting excited about starting school. Olivia is an athlete in the making. She is just loving t-ball and can't wait for travel ball try outs this winter. She is also starting Cheer at the same time Emily is starting gymnastics next month. Mackenzie is busy matching colors and desperately wants to go to school like the big girls. She is nowhere near ready to potty train and that's a preschool requirement so shes out of luck for awhile. Shana is at the dentist with a broken tooth so I'm guessing Ill be on my own tonight with the kids. Watching Kailen be born has brought up some serious baby fever in me, I just cant get enough of him or the feeling of wanting to do it all over again myself. I'm sure this emotional desire will fade with time...besides Rae's maternity leave wont last forever and then Ill have the little guy to myself everyday *grin*(that is if Rae doesn't rob a bank and run away to a foreign country to hide out with him) Marissa is doing so well that her Dr's have spaced her clinic appointments out to every other month. She hasn't thrown up in over a month which is a miracle let me tell you. We got her a walker and she enjoys using it around the house. We also got her a wheel chair for when we go out and while I was depressed about it at first(what parent wants their child in a wheel chair?) I'm feeling more positive all the time. She wants to walk and I don't believe anything will stop her. Its just about her strengthening those muscles and learning to work with what she has. She'll get there. We bought a used camper off of craigs list. an 8year old coachmen folding trailer. Its cute. I can't wait for Kailen to get alittle bigger so we can go camping! I'm going to start watching a little girl 4days per week. Its just temporary until this winter when her grandpa retires and takes over her care. Shes 2 and too cute for words. Whats one more girl? She will start this Monday. Our new kitchen has linoleum floors that are in good condition but I am having a hard time keeping them clean. I didn't realize how much gunk our spanish tiles hid. Can any suggest how I should clean them? Ive used the Floor Mate and Swiffer Wet Jet and both left a terrible sticky residue..bah. I guess I could just use good old hot soapy water and then rinse. I'll admit I like the smell of "cleaners" so what do you use?

Simple green, or a bit of ammonia...

Okay he is just too too cute! Wow, I feel ya girl! I know how much work all of it is and the linoleum floors in my house are about to send me to the looney bin. THEY ARE WHITE!!! (why...oh why?) I use good old Pine Sol and paper towels, get on my hands and knees and spray/wipe. It's the only thing that really gets them clean.

Hang in there :-)

I can't believe I am going to share a suggestion for how to clean your linoleum but I used Simple Green and hot water. I recently learned that my all-natural, home-made floor cleaner of lore (vinegar with Lavender essential oil) wasn't good for my Pergo floors after all when I read a book called Speedcleaning 101 written by a woman who started a housekeeping and janitorial service. Gawd, who likes cleaning that much?! But I did read the book all the way through since it promised to help cut my cleaning time in half. And it did!

I just want to nibble on that baby boy! Babes are the reason I use Simple Green and stuff like it.
