I vote pro-choice
But that's only because I believe that making abortion illegal will accomplish little more than making abortions unsafe. What I don't get is the idea that those who are pro-life somehow don't believe women are capable of making choices about their own bodies. THIS pro-lifer thinks it has little to do with that. For me PRO-LIFE is about the life of the HUMAN who has just been conceived(you know give or take 8-20+ weeks ago) not about the person whom it resides in. I believe life begins at conception and I believe that all lives have a RIGHT to be born.

I didn't mean to paint prolifers with a broad brush, though I probably did.
I think that some people do honestly think this is a moral, right to life issue, and that's fine.
I think other people (especially the crusty old men who try to legislate abortion out of existence) do not trust women as agents.
I really respect the way you vote though, Renee, I think it's very cool that you don't vote the party line because you realize that it won't stop the problem - it will just make desperate women take desperate measures.
