If you had to guess...what would you say this rash is?
As you may or may not remember a number of months ago my baby received her 12month vaccinations. Within days her mood had changed, by day ten she developed a fever swollen lymph nodes in her groin and neck and then by day 12 a rash. She was hospitalized for a week. She was very sick. She was released once she was up and around and eating again. The lymph nodes remain swollen and she develops fevers and rashes periodically. We've followed up with her Dr on a regular basis. They have ruled out many possible causes. All they have been able to identify is the swollen lymph nodes and possible immune issues(duh) we got a referral to a large children's hospital but of course they were booked 2months so we are still a month away from our apt. Its so hard to watch your kid be sick and have fevers and act so miserable and uncomfortable and not have a clue as to what is wrong with her. I hope they are able to figure it out....and that its not cancer. Please don't let it be cancer.

Have them check for Kawasaki's disease, its symptoms mimic many other diseases and its hard to diagnose since they dont normally get all the symptoms at once. Our son had a high fever for 2 weeks straight, red eyes that looked like pink eye without the pus, swollen glands, peeling skin on the hands and feet. Its worth mentioning if nothing else to just rule it out! Hang in there!
