Olivia has been talking incessantly about her birthday party. Her main request was to wear a Polly pocket shirt and skirt. Could she have asked for princess or strawberry short cake or ANYTHING else? Anything at all? No of course not, and you want to know why? BECAUSE Polly pocket shirts DON'T exist! We did find that
zazzle makes a T-shirt but the smallest size is 4 and Emily wears a 2T(and you know they insist on matching!)...we
coulda dealt with that but my Olivia wont wear T-shirts(well the type pictured but not
Tshirt T-shirts) SO
Raechelle found some iron on appliques on eBay and we payed 20$ to have them shipped overnight. Last minute, is there really any other way? Well that was Wednesday and guess what? They didn't come. SO off to Toys R Us I go. I couldn't find anything usable--I was hoping for something Polly pocket that I could use as a patch. I was on the phone with
Raechelle and she said "hey what about your idea of printing an imagine on iron-on transfer paper" Perfect! Easier said than done,
at least for a first timer like me. But after searching and searching to find an image that I could copy, resizing it and printing it, and then ironing it on...Well, I think I have something here that my four year
old's will appreciate and maybe even be EXCITED about! It does look brighter
irl this pic
