What a day! Yesterday I asked for good wishes on a better day, we did have a rough morning--including me getting stuck in traffic and showing up to J's speech therapy appt 30minutes late to be told, you aren't late--you're ONE WEEK EARLY. I didn't burst into tears, nope not me.
SO, it got better....much much better! Rae played hookie(but I wont tell if you wont) and we took the kids to Riley's Farm. What an awesome place! We will have to go back, I noticed they have events there all year and its a great place to just go and get lost for the day! We started in the general store where I found the most adorable sun bonnet for T. We also purchased a basket to fill with apples. We then wandered around a bit, we saw a cabin(one room with a loft that I was just sure I could live in) Olivia agreed as long as it had lights and a tv and a bathroom added on first ;)
They had a press your own cider building, a large old barn, a tipi, and a gold mine where the kids could pan for gold. Much more that we will have to go back and explore, soon. We then went on to pick apples, the kids took a bite out of every other apple we picked so I'm thinking we will have apple sauce soon. We then packed them up, went out to lunch, and headed to the pumpkin patch where the kids rode ponies, went into a petting zoo---where they ACTUALLY FED AND TOUCHED the animals(that's a first for my kids!)and even bounced in the obligatory pumpkin bounce house.

Ummmm, okay, so HOW do you get all 4 kids to a place like this at the same time without going bonkers?? I have 3 and there is NO way I'd look as calm as you. Loved the pic's. I want to go to Julian (ever been there?) for apple picking now...
Well to be fair I *did* have my mom with me today helping. I DO however go o ut with all four kids on my own often enough. I either use the triplet stroller and Bjorn or Bjorn, single stroller(which I push) and wagon(which I pull) sounds insane I know. You should see me grocery shop! I push the triplet stroller and pull the shopping cart(with the bucket carseat on top) Its quiet a site, really I feel like a circus side show. ::sigh::
