dream land......

Ok Ok so in my entire knitting career Ive manage to create 1/2 of a FRONT of a TODDLER sized cardigan, knit, purl, knit, purl, knit, purl(AKA: stockinette=BORING already, challenge me baby!). So am I dreaming to think that I can make project #2 THIS: FOR ME?!? Im in love with knitting. Im fascinated with spinning and I just sent a letter to the north pole requesting a basic spinning wheel. I know it seems a bit premature to be dreaming up spinning and to have created a knitting room(yup, Ill admit it...I did. and its cozy, and in my defense we REALLY didnt need TWO guest bedrooms, when we already have THREE living spaces with couches/futon, so I just turned one of the guest bedrooms into a sitting room, with a couch, chair and a few tables and lamps) So I want to wash, and card, and spin, and knit. I want to make socks(with great amazing colors/patterns to wear with my birks or clogs), sweaters, diaper covers(for that maybe baby i just might have someday)just so much, I go from knitting blog to knitting blog and am lusting over projects. Im wondering if Im fooling myself to think I can add a pattern to the bottom of Maggies cardigan, like say some cables? hmmmmmm........
