Long weekend + San Diego Pride!

We started our long weekend at Raechelle and Donnas! We stayed Thursday-Saturday. Thursday we went to concerts in the park, Friday I watched Maggie during the day and that evening we all went to see Racing Stripes in the park. Saturday morning we headed to San Diego and Rae and Donna headed up north for a family vacation! We ended up skipping the parade this year. We met Mitchell at his place(which was within walking distance of the festival!!!!) Around noon-ish we met-up with some of our SoCalLesMoms list members at the Childrens Garden. The kids all played and us Moms got a chance to talk face to face! After the meet-up we wandered the festival for a bit and then headed back to Mitchells. We pick up some take out and lounged around and watched movies all night, it was nice! Sunday morning we got up and picked up some yummy Mexican food and drove over to our friend Titos new place(Mitchells former room-mate) Hes got a GREAT place ON the ocean! So that was fun! We hungout for a bit and then drove home. We were woke up early t today with a phone call to take Shanas dad(yet again) to the hospital, he's really not doing t oo good anymore. Right now we are trying to arrange for a home health nurse and a service to deliver meals. He really wants to stay in his own home for as long as possible, while Im willing to go stay there to care for him Im worried that an active 2year old day-in-and-day-out would be too much for him. I guess we will just take it one day at a time and see how it goes. Ideally Id like to move him in with us, we've got plenty of room and space that he could have enough privacy and quite time...But Im not sure he'd like t hat. We'll see.
