Dental surgery update!

Olivia did amazing! I on the other hand didn't handle it so well! I couldn't believe how BRAVE she was! She got her very first shot ever today and did NOT cry a single tear, ofcourse I've been explaining to her all week that it was going to happen, but who knew that would be enough for her to 'get-it' she actually said to the Dr. "you give me a shot and it make me go to sleep and the dentist will fix my teeth" He was blown away to say the least! About 90seconds after the injection she was completely loopy and had no idea who I was, the Dr kept telling me not to make eye contact with her as it would scare her because she no longer had the ability to recognize me. I just lost it and started crying and handed her over to Shana and went outside. They let Shana carry her into the operating room and stand by her as they put in her IV, and taped her eyes shut etc. She is a MUCH braver Mama than I. I just couldn't handle it atall!!!! The hardest part was actually AFTER when she was coming out of it(in my arms) and they wouldn't let me nurse her, she was tearing at my shirt and screaming mommy pleaseeeeeee mommy please let me geeeeee I NEED to geeeeee mommy PLEASE!!!!! OMG it was horrible. We did much better once we were able to leave and Ic would finally nurse her, she calmed right down and fell asleep and slept the hr drive home. She's completely fine now and not in any pain atall. Shes very excited and proud that her teeth are 'fixed' and happily showed them to the camera for a close up! I am very happy with the results!
