Weekend Review!

Well this past weekend we(along with Rhonda and her twins) joined Donna(Raechelle and Maggie) for the annual So Cal Edison Picnic! The kids had a blast! From horse rides to face painting a good time was had by all! This was Olivia's first time riding an actual 'horse'(pony) thankfully the girl let me walk along side her. She was very brave and agreed to try each attraction including the swings(which she got off of after making it around once! But still the fact that she TRIED IT is a huge step for her) All that excitement did eventually put her over the edge and her and I ended up back at our 'spot' for a long nurse and nap. After a nap and some lunch we went on to make hats, get our(ok the kids) faces painted, hop around the entrance of the bounce house(the BIG kids had taken it over by this point) and we even went on the big slide, ate cotton candy and fed ducks! In other news: Thursday morning Im off to brave the road with Raechelle, Maggie and Olivia(who are both 2 AND potty learning *nuff said*) Raechelles family is having a Reunion in Denver and (lucky me *snicker*) I get to drive her. Really though I AM excited, its been awhile since I've been anywhere (other than an trip to Reno) out of our part of So Cal. I've *heard* Colorado is beautiful and I cant WAIT to drive through the Rocky Mountains! From what I can tell much of our drive will be through Utah and again I've heard that's some good scenery. I was hoping to have my new camera by the time we go but it doesnt look likely, Im sure Raechelle will take plenty of great pictures! Ill update when we get home!
